Inchyra Arts Club

You don’t have to become a member to come to the Arts Club but we would strongly recommend that you do! Membership will give you a heads up about forthcoming events, early booking discounts and special members-only events.

The Byre’s owners, Lord and Lady Inchyra, invested significantly in restoring the Byre to its original glory and fitted it out as a state of the art venue. The vaulted timber roofs were reinstated as they would originally have been in 1877. Sprung hard wood floors reclaimed from the Kelvingrove museum in Glasgow was laid throughout. Original doors from the Byre re-used inside the building and every piece of original wood that could be was saved and re-fitted.

The result is a uniquely welcoming space that provides an amazing setting for performances from music to theatre, from comedy to opera. Artists and sound engineers alike have commented on the amazing sound quality in the Byre.
