63 Tay Street

Winning Scottish Restaurant of the Year 2017 may have been a career highlight for 63 Tay Street’s chef-patron, Graeme Pallister, but the long-standing Perth City favourite is well-versed in receiving awards!  With two AA rosettes and a continued presence in the Michelin Good Food Guide and Good Wine Guide for the UK,  the restaurant, guided by Graeme’s mantra of Local, Honest, Simple, is a leading force in Scottish food.

Graeme made the decision in 2016 to refurbish the restaurant, introducing a more relaxed, bistro-style environment.  This has opened 63 up to a more casual crowd, and placed it firmly on the map for mid-week lunch, pre-theatre and dinner.  You must try their Lunch and Pre-Theatre four course special for £22, or if it’s a quick one courser you’re after, go for a stunning main dish with homemade artisan bread and butter starting at only £13.

Of course, exceptional food and service has ensured it has retained its reputation as one of the city’s most-loved special occasion venues and the 5-course Tasting Menu proves to be a popular choice amongst regulars and new comers alike.

Graeme prides himself on creating dishes that use only local and Scottish artisan suppliers and cooks seasonally to deliver the best taste experience possible. His menus are creative and combine many wonderful tastes and textures and these are all enhanced by a stunning wine menu that boasts some of the world's finest vineyards.

You will find their monthly Slow Food Dinners and other speciality menus and events listed in our Food & Drink Events section.
