It's that time of the year again....school's back! We have the world’s cutest #SmallCityGallery for you all to ooohhh and ahhhhh over.

Last week pupils returned to their classes, and a whole new crop of children took off for their very first days of primary and secondary school, ready to start their journey in education.

Is it just us, or do the Primary Ones just get cuter each year?  Happy wee faces, all smiles and summer freckles peer over shirt collars stiff with newness.  Long socks, big school bags and shiny, shiny shoes are a sure sign of the first day at big school!

We've been overwhelmed by all of the proud mums and dads who sent us photographs of their wee ones heading off to start their first day in primary one.  From Abernethy to Perth city centre, the rows of wee people are enough to reduce even the toughest among us to tears.
