You're in safe hands with these guys; they're the first and only internationally recognised canyoning provider in the UK, and are also the only one to be affiliated with the pretigious 'ICOpro'; the largest international canyoning organisation in the world.

So...what exactly is Canyoning?

Canyoning is an exhilarating adventure activity where you journey down a canyon or gorge with a highly qualified instructor. You'll experience the natural thrills and spills these beautiful and exciting environments have to offer while navitaging your way around.

Explore crystal clear pools and secret caves behind waterfalls. Feel the rush as you slide down natural water flumes, jump into deep pools, and abseil down showering waterfalls.

Who's it for?

The canyoning company have a real passion for this activity and it shows on their trips. They teach on every experience, so its not only great fun, but you learn about canyoning and the canyoning environment. You will learn the skills of abseiling yourself, how to jump and slide safely, and how to look after yourself and your team. It's a fantastic group day out!

Where will it be?

There's loads of canyons in Perthshire and beyond which The Canyoning Company use. Some of the locations are hidden gems, secret Glens only accessible by canyoning down with your experienced instructors. They'll tailor the location to the groups ability, needs and adrenaline junkie rating!

Experience vouchers are available for their two beginner canyons, the Bruar canyon based just outside Pitlochry and the Dollar canyon just south of Perth which is only 45 minutes from Edinburgh. These trips are suited to everyone from the ages of 12 and above.

What involved?

On every trip you'll receive a warm welcome, the best equipment, instruction, free photos and ICOpro CAI certification at the end of your experience. If you leave with the canyoning bug, these guys have many more canyoning experiences throughout Scotland from beginner to advanced. If you want to take your canyoning skills to the next level, they also run International canyoning holidays and training courses available to all.
