They say March comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb. However, At the time of writing March isn't looking too sheepish, in fact, I would go so far to say it's fair to say it's f-ing freezing! Never mind, let's look forward to milder weather with this gallery showcasing the best the season has to offer, which once again comes courtesy of the good folks at the Pictures of Perth and Beyond Facebook group.
It's a really exciting and varied set of pictures ranging from fuzzy cuteness to perfectly composed pictures of flowers so stunning that they would send Charlie Dimmock into convulsions! This is all beautifully undercut by some more absurdist humour from Fraser Hetherington (the photographer famous for getting a shot of the elusive Angry Bird in our Feathered Friends Gallery). We've also got some creative shots of historic buildings, including Blair Castle and Scone Palace, flanked by seasonal blossoms and we can even through in some babes (and toddlers) in the woods!
However, it wouldn't truly be spring without some almost criminally cute animals, and this gallery does not pull its punches in that respect. We've got Stags (real and fake), newborn lambs and a wascally bunny wabbit so cute that even Elmer Fudd would think twice before taking aim. This all pales in comparison to the fuzziest little baby swan (I'm no Bill Oddie so had to seek confirmation on this point!) that I've ever clapped my cynical eyes on. Basically, what I'm saying is this gallery is (as I believe the kids say) hella cute!
