Rae Peacock's Gorgeous New Salon!

When Rae Peacock first opened in June 2014 he never imagined that after 18 months they would be needing a new unit almost three times the size! The team has grown organically with talented stylists approaching them for work, which Rae has found overwhelmingly flattering. From day one it's been a labour of love welcoming guests to what they call their 'front lounge' where you instantly feel at home with the offer of a drink, home-baked brownies and lots of banter!

Rae absolutely loves his job with the creative juices flowing, creating shapes and colours with cocktails, delicious home baked brownies (Craigs Speciality) and lots of chat and laughs. He can't think of a better way to spend the day, so much so, that he was recently away on a 5 star exotic holiday with his husband Craig and they both wanted to go back to work after a week because they missed it that much! 

When the old Maple and Thistle came up they both hummed and hawed as to whether they should take it or not as they didn't want to lose the intimate feel of their current small but compact salon. The new space is like the original salon, with and industrial-chic twist.  Gorgeous pieces of contemporary and original artwork adorn the walls giveing a personal touch and a boutique feel, avoiding the 'hair factory' vibe that can sometimes go hand in hand with larger salons.

In addition to their unique points of difference, they've added Comfort Zone skincare and are proud to be the only stockists in the area. Comfort Zone products are vegan and naturally derived yet have an extensive scientific research backbone which enables their ability to produce the latest technology in anti-ageing ingredients. The aromatherapy range smells edible! They will be offering Comfort Zone facials along with Calgel nails in the salon, adding yet more strings to their bow!

The back section of the salon can be used for general use or can be kept for a bridal party, birthday party or another special event for their sole use. Rae, Craig and the team can't wait to have their very loyal guests and hopefully lots of new folk in to see the new space, the team are loving it as are guests alike!
