BOO! Grab your scariest costume and hit the streets of Perth, as the Halloween Parade and Fun Night returns packed with spooky, kooky entertainment for all ages!

Kicking off from Horsecross Plaza at 6pm, the Parade will loop round the city centre and return to Mill Street for a night of frightening entertainment and spooktastic goings-on.

The main stage in Horsecross Plaza will host music and dance, as well as the Halloween Fancy Dress competitions - ghouls, ghosts, monsters and witches of all ages should take part if they dare!

The categories for the fancy dress competition are:

  • Pre-School
  • Primary School
  • High School
  • ‘Rest of the Population’

If you really want to scare your head off then join one of the brilliantly frightening Haunted Tours by History & Horror Tours; these also leave from Horsecross Plaza and will be running throughout the night.

The Zombie Maze from Castle Horror Events will be scaring up crowds in Mill Street (in the car park next to Marks and Spencers) and the all the fun of the fair from Horne’s Pleasure Fairs will line the city centre.

As always, you'll find a host of food and drink offerings throughout the city, alongside all of your usual Perth food and drink favourites - so come hungry, come scary and prepare for a night of dreadful fun!

In a change from previous years the 2019 Hallowe'en event is being organised jointly by Horne’s Pleasure Fairs, History & Horror Tours and Castle Horror Events. This means that some activities will incur a charge. Prices for for the entertainment are - £3 for Maze and £3 for Tour (and most rides) To find out more, contact Castle Horror on castlehorror666@gmail.com.

This event is part of Perth's Winter Festival.
