This weekend’s gallery sees a big splash of colour – courtesy of the PKAVS Muddy Colour Mayhem run last Saturday!
The event took place for the second year running at Scottish Assault Courses Errol with over 160 runners joining in the fun and getting very muddy, wet, and colourful!
It was a tough physical challenge for everybody involved with lots of great displays of teamwork to get over some of the larger obstacles too!
Tackling monkey bars, tunnels, walls, cargo nets, and a river crossing, the participants had a great time running a total of 5K, while volunteers showered them in multi-coloured dye. The runners finished the course by diving into a big pool of water, giving them a chance to cool off before collecting their medal and posing for a photo at the finish line!
The participants ranged from young to old and I think it’s safe to say that everybody had an absolutely fantastic day!
The event has raised almost £6,000 so far, with lots more expected over the next few weeks! If you would like to offer your support and help a charity that benefits thousands of disadvantaged people throughout Perth & Kinross every year, visit the event's JustGiving page here >>>.
