Are You The Face of Eva Lucia 2019?

Lovers of Perth city centre's indie fashion shop, Eva Lucia, will know that they are big fans of real women everywhere.  Owned and run by the gorgeously curvacious Lori McGaffney, the store has built an unrivalled following amongst women of all ages, shapes and sizes.

In fact, as I type I am wearing a French Connection jumper and jeans bought last season - that's me, a 46 year old woman, size 12-on-a-good-day, with an ass that won't quit!    

If you follow their extremely popular Facebook page you will no doubt have noticed that Lori and Sonia prefer to showcase the new collections on various members of the Eva Lucia team, rather than using the various brands' stock images. 

Lovers of Perth city centre's indie fashion shop, Eva Lucia, will know that they are big fans of real women everywhere."It started a few years back now - the images we were sent were fantastic and there's no doubt the clothes looked great on the 6ft, size 8, 19 year old models that the brands were used to using.  But as someone who is a bit more curvy, a tad shorter than 6ft and over the age of 30, I wanted to show what the clothes would look like on real women.  

We started photographing the clothes on the girls in the team, and quickly found that our customers much prefered to see real women!"

This year, Eva Lucia turns 10 years old and Lori is looking to celebrate by crowning two lucky Perth ladies the FACE OF EVA LUCIA 2019! 

The winners will be invited into the shop three to four times over the coming year to try on, feedback on sizes and fit, and be photographed in the season's new collections.  The photographs will then be used on Eva Lucia's social media. 

As if that wasn't enough, Lori will gift each of the winners 4 x £50 vouchers throughout the year, allowing them to shop the collections and carry their title into everyday life. 

We're not looking for the traditional supermodel here! We're looking for gorgeous, real women who love fashion, who enjoy shopping and who embody our spirit of sassy independence.The whole thing will kick-start in March with a professional photoshoot, including hair and make-up, for the Spring Summer collections.

To prove her commitment to her real-life customers, Lori is opening the vote up to everyone! She, Sonia, Mags, Tasha and Esther will whittle down the entries to 12 at which stage the public will be invited to cast their vote for the winning women!

• Local, real women who embody the Eva Lucia spirit of sassy independent!
• One will be under 30, and one will be over 30
• Different shapes and sizes - Eva Lucia stock clothes in sizes 6 - 18. 
• Fashion lovers who enjoy timeless classics with a twist

HOW TO ENTER:

• Email or Facebook message to Eva Lucia - lori-smith@hotmail.co.uk
   - with a head and shoulders shot, a full length shot and a short intro of 50 - 100 words telling them why you'd be the perfect Face of Eva Lucia.
• Lori, Sonia, Mags, Tasha and Esther will whittle it down to 6 finalists for each age group
• Small City, Big Personality will run the One Big Vote stage allowing the public to make the final decision.

RULES OF PLAY:

• Stage 1 - Participants to send images and entry by Sunday February 17th at 5pm.
• Judges will whittle down the entries to 6 under 30, and 6 over 30.
• Finalists will confirm they wish to proceed to the next stage which will see their photograph and statement open for public voting. 
• Stage 2 - Voting opens for finalists on Friday February 22nd at 9am.
• The public are invited to cast their vote on the Small City, Big Personality platform only, and will enter their email address to authenticate the vote. 
• One vote per email address. 
• Email addresses used to vote will not be used for any other purpose, and will not be stored past Monday 11th March at 10am. 
• Stage 3 - Voting closes on Sunday 10th March at midnight.
• Winners Announced via Eva Lucia and Small City, Big Personality on Monday 11th March at 10am.
