The marketplace is free to all and is packed with stalls both pertaining to women’s issues and promoting women owned and led organisations, charities, businesses and more. We’re giving you an exclusive sneak peek into some of the stalls that will be present across the week, offering you a taste of some the incredible and essential organisations taking part.
JAR OF JEWELS
Jar of Jewels organise events and various activities for women. They started back in 2016, and from time to time have arranged various multi-cultural events. They aim to celebrate various minority communities, celebrating their existence in the UK community, affirming a sense of belonging.
VINTAGE MOSAIC DESIGNS
Vintage Mosaic Designs make beautiful pieces of mosaic jewellery, and items such as framed mosaic hearts which catch the eye.
RASAC P&K/PERTHSHIRE WOMEN’S AID
RASAC P&K provide support, information and advocacy services to anyone who identifies as a woman - and young people aged 12-18 - who have experienced rape or sexual abuse at any time in their lives. They also offer support and information to partners, families and friends of survivors.
Through the provision of multi-agency training, awareness raising activities and campaigning they seek to advance education among professionals and the general public about the causes, nature, prevalence and effects of rape and other forms of sexual violence against women and girls.
The WOW marketplace returns, packed with stalls both pertaining to women’s issues and promoting women owned and led organisations, charities, businesses and more.
SOROPTIMISTS
The majority of the 80,000 Soroptimists worldwide belong to a local Club, of which there are 16 in Scotland, where they can make friends with like-minded women, have fun and work on projects that help improve the lives of women and girls locally, nationally and internationally. All of their work is linked to Sustainable Development Goals: working towards ending poverty, eradicating hunger, providing education for all and preserving the environment.

Louise McLaren is a paper cutting artist. Each one of her delicate, intricate designs has been inspired by the words contained within it. Louise loves using quotes filled with hope and the endless possibilities of being and fragments of text speaking about the things that really matter in life; friendship, love and increasingly, feminism! SARAH HALLIDAY
Sarah is a local artist and designer, and the majority of her work is inspired by the British countryside. Her skills include fine art (oils) and illustration work (Adobe Illustrator), and she can be commissioned by individuals and, or business to produce unique bespoke work. She also sells prints, stationery, silk scarves and cushions featuring my designs on her online shop.
CAT BURTON
Cat Burton is a professional nature and fine art photographer based in Perthshire, known for her beautiful and atmospheric imagery. She is passionate about the outdoors and the wildlife we share the world with. Through beautiful imagery she hopes to inspire others to explore the countryside and help raise environmental awareness. Cat is available for commissions, photography assignments and workshops across Scotland.
JENNA MCDONALD
Contemporary Jewellery Designer Jenna McDonald creates statement pieces of jewellery inspired by her natural surroundings. From her Perthshire based studio and craft boutique, Jenna handcrafts her unique ranges from anodised aluminium and sterling silver. Her striking and vibrant collections of unisex jewellery include cuffs, pendants, earrings and cufflinks. Jenna also hosts workshops where you can learn the art of jewellery making in a fun, friendly and creative environment.
BEYOND THE BOTHY
One bitterly cold Saturday morning in February, over coffee, five Perthshire artists hatched a plan to form the 'Beyond the Bothy' collective. In this current climate of uncertainty, they have found strength, purpose and laughter in working together as a team. For the WOW festival market place Ruth Morris of Roobedo, Gillian Griffiths, The Happy Cultivator & Ciara Gibson will be selling their work including contemporary accessories, homeware, ceramics, prints & gifts all inspired by the landscape.
ISOLATED HEROES
Isolated Heroes is a contemporary fashion brand based in Dundee. Their main objective is to empower others, making their customers feel the best most confident version of themselves whatever their shape or size. They love to celebrate body positivity with collections stocked from a size UK 6 through to a UK 28 and always street cast models, choosing bold personalities and fiesty females over traditional model looks.
DESIGNS BY KIRSTEN
Designs by Kirsten specialise in luxury, bespoke, unforgettable wedding invitations which are in essence a memento of your big day, irresistible RSVPs and inspiring on-the-day wedding stationery. Designs by Kirsten’s role is to help you realise the wedding you’ve always dreamed of, by translating your vision into something real and beautiful.
SHAKTI WOMEN'S AID
Shakti Women's Aid offer information and support to Black Minority Ethnic women, children and young people experiencing and/or fleeing domestic abuse.
THE RED BOX PROJECT - PERTH BRANCH
The Red Box Project provides free period products to young people in need in schools and youth groups. They gratefully accept donations of sanitary towels and tampons, which will be distributed among schools in our community. They want to help break down stigmas around periods and poverty - come and have a chat about the project with them and find out how you can get involved!
BREAST BUDDIES
Breast Buddies run beastfeeding support groups throughout Perth and Kinross, run by trained volunteer peer supporters - mums who have breastfed their own babies.
KARENINA JOHNSON
Karenina is an artist inspired by people, places and animals. She loves atmospheric or dramatic images and cannot resist a pop of cerise pink!
