The Blackwatch Castle and Museum want you to join their mini army! Bring the family along to the Castle and Museum and sign up as a First World War brave soldier or caring military nurse.
Meet a First World War recruiting Sergeant and military nurse and join in with drills, training, and keepsake crafts. You can also clamber aboard a 1914 military vehicle and listen to the Pipes and Drums. Explore the Museum and test your detective skills with the First World War trail!
Go through the ‘sign up process’ and make your own ID tag, dress up in uniform and have your black and white photograph taken. You can also design your own ornate silver frame for it and give to your loved ones as a war time keepsake.
Entry to this recruitment day will include access to The Black Watch Museum.
This is sure to be a great day out for all the family at The Black Watch Castle and Museum!
