Through these images, Amy endeavours to illustrate resilience, individualism and communal spirit in an honest and respectable manner.
Amy travelled through countries with the idea of creating intimate portraits from a different perspective. Showing light on the positive rather than focusing on the negative – moments where people have something to celebrate despite hardship. The backdrop of nature, architecture and social gathering enabled an insightful contrast of colour, clothing and expression, combing the reflect various stages of daily life.
