The Famous Grouse Experience

The perfect day out at Scotland's oldest distillery, set on the banks of the River Turret in the beautiful town of Crieff in Perthshire. Novices and whisky enthusiasts alike will enjoy the distillery tours, with a chance to see the Guinness World Record for the largest bottle of whisky!

The Glenturret Distillery is the spiritual home of The Famous Grouse whisky. After seeing the milling, mashing, fermenting and distilling process visitors are introduced to The Famous Family of whiskies and can pick their favourite whisky to sample as well as tasting The Glenturret Highland Single Malt.

Enjoy a meal, snack or coffee in The Glenturret Cafe where deli-filled sandwiches, hot meals and homemade traybakes are served daily using locally-sourced produce. Visit The Famous Shop for an excellent selection of souvenirs and gifts including a wide range of whiskies.

THE FAMOUS TASTING EXPERIENCE

Learn about the traditional production of The Glenturret Highland single malt and enjoy a tasting of five whiskies.

Discover how The Glenturret Highland Single Malt is produced and learn the art of blending at the spiritual home of The Famous Grouse.

During your tour you will enjoy two whisky tastes, one from The Glenturret range and one from The Famous Grouse range.

Following your tour, you will sample a further three whiskies from our Famous range of whiskies. You will also receive a souvenir nosing glass to take home.

THE WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE

The Warehouse Experience invites you into our exclusive bonded warehouses which house our maturing casks of Glenturret whisky.

Following an in-depth tour of Scotland’s most traditional distillery enjoy a guided nosing and tasting session in our specially built sample room within the warehouses.

This experience includes four premium whisky tastes from our exceptional range of Glenturret single malts.
