Looking for something a bit different? Want something more unusual for yourself? Or need to find that special gift?
Tayberry Gallery is situated on Princes Street in Perth and has established itself well over 7 years as a great place to shop within the city. If you’re looking for something British made, unusual gifts, unique items with a great range of pieces, then Tayberry Gallery is for you!
Tayberry Gallery shows a broad selection of British handmade work, created by talented artists and designer/makers from a wide range of disciplines including glass, ceramics, jewellery, wood, photography, Jewellery, textiles, limited edition prints and more. Every collection is carefully picked by owners Louise Forbes (interior designer) and Sarah Spalding (Jeweller).
Edinburgh based Wildlife artist, Tori Ratcliffe, is one of Tayberry’s newer artists to show their work. Tori was too impatient for the traditional method of painting so developed her own unique style; applying the paint first in a loose expressive manner and then drawing the fine details afterwards in pen. This lively painting style enables her to express the life and vitality of her chosen subject, with the pen strokes working to contradict the chaos of the paint, anchoring the piece together. Tayberry has a large selection of prints, cards, tea towels available. Plus a few original framed paintings, get yours while you can.

Always a favourite at Tayberry Gallery is Garry Brown’s rustic driftwood clocks. Working from his Dundee workshop he makes mantle, free standing and wall clocks. Each design is completely individual and unique, so you know you’re getting a special piece. They are created using locally sourced driftwood and inspired by gothic architecture. Sometimes he creates a heart shape in the clocks, which makes the ideal wedding present.
Anna Wright is an illustrator based in Edinburgh, Tayberry Gallery has been selling her prints at Tayberry for quite a few years now and they continue to be a popular choice. Anna has grown her trademark style of colour and humour using a mixture of fabric, feathers, pen, ink & paint. Animals are her main focus and she uses bold inky lines to capture their humour and character adding fabric & feathers to bring colour & texture to her drawings. If the mood is right the images are signed off with a witty caption adding to the joy of the creation. Tayberry has a great range of her prints on display so pop on down to see what’s available.
Louise Forbes, co-owner of Tayberry Gallery, is trained in Interior and Environmental design. She can provide design consultations and is always happy to come and advise you on all things interiors. Just contact Tayberry Gallery to make an appointment.
