Tasty Treats At Taste Perthshire

We can’t think of a better way to spend a couple of hours catching up with the girls or treat your mum this Mother’s Day!

Taste Perthshire has a bit of everything all under one roof and their focus is on local produce from the area.  They have a clothing & accessories shop with some great individual pieces that you don’t see in other shops.

Taste Perthshire have a special menu available on Sunday 6th March 2016 priced from £13.95 for 2 courses and every mum will receive an envelope with a mystery prize inside – it could be anything from 10% off in the shop right the way through to a £50 voucher to spend instore!

There’s a great choice of handbags, jewellery and footwear too – we love their leather boots!  Their gift shop has a wide range of lovely treats and trinkets from candles to luxury bath products and you can pick up something special for the house in their homeware department.

If you’re a bit of a foodie then you probably won’t want to leave their food & drink larder.  The deli has a wide range of cheese and olives, they also stock local butcher meats and smokery items amongst an array of other goodies.  The pantry area has a huge range of biscuits, jams and chutneys.  Make sure to try whatever is on offer in their tasting area!

The restaurant is spacious and the fire lends it a cosy air on wintery days.  The smiley staff are on hand to welcome you and lead you to a table.  We recommend their afternoon Tea which includes a round of sandwiches, a trio of mini tray bakes, the lightest fluffiest of scones with jam and cream and a choice of tea or coffee, all for just £8.95.  It’s best to book as they are really popular and served between 2.30pm and 4.30pm every day – 01738 787696.

Located at Bankfoot, just a 5 minute drive from Perth, Taste Perthshire is a convenient place to meet if you’re travelling from different directions.  It’s just off the A9, has plenty of free parking and its open 7 days between 8am and 8pm (7pm midweek in winter).
