The Music and Music Business Courses at Perth College UHI provide a springboard to employment within this creative and diverse sector. The department aims to give students a comprehensive view of the music industry, from artist development, promoting gigs and music festivals if you follow the music business route and performing in their campus theatre and at local festivals and venues on our music performance courses.
Students benefit from guest lectures representing industry organisations, including Universal Music, PRS For Music, Vic Galloway (BBC Broadcaster, Presenter and Journalist), Keith Harris (Stevie Wonder’s Manager), Idlewild, Frightened Rabbit, Glasvegas and Perth Music Expo.
There are a range of opportunities for students are available to gain experience through projects held regularly throughout the academic year, on campus and in venues across Scotland.
