It’s almost time for spooky tales and scary stories to fill our heads and wind their way into the ears of wee, small children and feardy-cat mums and dads. I’m talking about Halloween of course!
This year St John’s Shopping Centre is calling on the children of Perth to come up with some super scary stories. The competition is for all Primary School aged children and closes on the – so plenty of time to dig inside your wildest imagination and find something so terrifying it will scare the cobwebs clean off of us!
We want to read spine-tingling, body-shuddering, I-can’t-sleep-ever-again, tales of terror and horror. Junior authors should write about 250 words and send it into our friend Derek at St John’s Shopping Centre by 20th October. He does love to be scared so make sure it’s SUPER-SPOOKY!
I’m thinking a creepy, warty, green-skinned witch and a spell so calamitously evil that…. Oh wait! I’m over 40 years old and can’t enter! BOO HOO!
The winning writer will receive a top prize of a £50 gift card for Waterstones.
2nd & 3rd prize – £30 Waterstones giftcard
The Top Ten entries will be featured as a Small City Gallery!
