As national Independents' Day approaches we're celebrating all that is great about Perth's amazing Indie Businesses and asking you to vote for your favourite!

As you know, we're all about the #PerthLoveFest all year round here at SCBP but on 4th July, People 1st will encourage the whole nation to come out in agreement for Indpendents' Day. 

To join in and to celebrate, Perth City Centre Management will crown the Best Independent Shop AND the Best Independent Food & Drink provider.

The popular competition is now in its third year and Perth & Kinross Council City Centre Manager, Leigh Brown, said, “Last year over a thousand votes were cast in the City of Perth Independent Business Competition, testament to the variety and quality of independent shopping and dining on offer in Perth. Our independent retailers make our city unique and so attractive to locals and visitors alike. They deserve to be celebrated, and I’m sure this year’s competition will prove very popular.”

Paper voting slips
Voters can collect and hand completed vote slips via and of the businesses above. Voters can also hand them in to reception staff at the Council offices of Pullar House or The Atrium in Perth, or post them to the City Centre Team at Pullar House.

The full addresses for anyone returning their paper voting slips to Council offices are:

These paper votes will be added to online votes cast her eon Small City and over on the Perth City website.
