The growth in the outdoor recreation and sports industry has been one of the largest shifts of fitness training ever experienced. With the huge success of outdoor events like Tough Mudder and Spartan Races, the outdoor recreational and sports industry has simply exploded.
Scottish Assault Courses have constructed a purpose-built facility which meets the needs of clients looking to train or those just wanting to have fun. The course, located at Errol Aerodrome, is over 1 mile long and is one of the most demanding civilian courses available in Scotland. The course is physically demanding and strength sapping, making you dig deep to finish with determination. It is however also great fun and a fantastic way to get fit quickly and tone your body!
The course features obstacles such as tunnels, high walls, monkey bars, water cages, tyre hurdles, rope crossings and includes a section in the Pow Burn. The course finishes with a leap into a 'refreshing' splash pool
If you’re a complete assault course novice, don’t worry SAC Instructors are there to help and take you round, also if you do not want to do certain obstacles our instructors will provide alternative challenges to get you to the finish line.
The assault course is not just for obstacle course training, it is also perfect for fitness groups, hen/stag parties, team building days, kids parties (the course is suitable for kids +8 yrs old) or simply just for fun!
The course is also ideal for fundraising and is hosting the upcoming events for PKAVS and CLIC Sargent! There doesn't have to be hundreds of people coming along to raise money. We do have several charity partners who organise 5k races throughout the year, but most often it is groups like sports teams, clubs or even just a group of friends who come along to raise money for a cause close to their hears.
In addition to the assault course there is currently under construction a paintball and airsoft facility, due to open mid April 2016, which will give you a truly adrenaline packed day out!
