Picnic to-go from Prov Brown!

We love a snack (or two) here in the Small City office and with the North Inch just across the road we can't resist an al fresco lunch or outdoors meeting when the sun is shining.

Needless to say, our ears pricked up when we caught wind of the fact that our favourite foodie's over at Prov Brown were doing takeaway picnic baskets. We couldn't wait to get our order in and head over to the Inch for a posh picnic!

Diane and the team have been asked many times over the years to come up with a 'ready to go' picnic and in celebration of the first Great Perthshire Picnic coming to Perth this September, they decided now was the perfect time to get moving on things.

They chatted to a few people, included the things they like to munch most and have come up with a gorgeous box of goodies to tempt your tastebuds and make even the dullest day feel like summer.  

At only £25 for two people you will get:

• Homemade quiche
• Coleslaw
• Gourmet crisps
• Olives
• Homemade cake
• Strawberries & cream
• Posh pop

Just think, no more spending the morning spreading and slicing, just pop on your best straw hat, get the tartan rug ready and swing by PB to collect your goodies. (Remember you can now park for 15 minutes free.) It couldn't be easier! You can even call in advance and order so that they can have it all ready and waiting for you. 

Even if the weather isn't great these picnic baskets are the perfect lunchtime foodie feast and are great to share with work collegues - it makes us feel better if we're eating sunshine food in the rain!
