Purple Apple Shortlist for St John's

St John’s Shopping Centre in Perth City Centre has today announced that their Kid’s Summer Workshops, which ran over July 2017, have earned them a finalist’s place in the event category in the prestigious Purple Apple Awards. We are doubley thrilled at this news here at Small City, as it was these very workshops that helped launch Small City Crafs!

The month long event was a joint partnership between the Shopping Centre, Live Active Leisure, Culture PK and Small City Familes with the wonderful Hannah and her creative crafts. The workshops welcomed in children and families visiting the centre, and offered up a whole host of fun activities for free.

Held annually, the Purple Apple Marketing Awards are the only awards which recognise and reward shopping centre and town centre marketing within the UK retail sector.

Derek Martin, Marketing Manager at St John’s commented, “We are absolutely thrilled that our Kids Summer Workshops have made this shortlist.   There was a lot of hard work went into the organising and delivering of these fun sessions for kids and I’m thrilled that everyone involved has been recognised for their part in this.
