Perthshire Pride returns for its 2nd annual Pride festival and this year they see the addition of the first ever Pride Parade!! The Parade will see colour, music and a whole lot of community spirit lighting up the City of Perth, in this fantastic free event on Saturday 10 August 2019.
Watch the parade as it sets off at noon from the South Inch, along Tay Street and finishing at Horsecross Plaza which has been transformed into the Pride Village home to the main Pride event which will kick off from 1pm until 7pm.
The first ever Pride Parade will feature local community groups, larger organisations, music, colour, and lots of excitement! Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Dog Friendly Perthshire are supporting Perthshire Pride and encouraging you to bring along your four legged friends for the Pride Parade.
The main stage will be alight with performances from local dance and music groups along with a Pups of Perthshire Pride dog show where your furry friend has the chance to win a prize! The main event will see drag performance queen Voss take to the stage with big hair and big dreams.
Make sure you get down before 4pm to take part in a Guinness World record attempt for the World’s largest Gaylidh (Ceilidh)!
