Academy of Sport and Wellbeing

Perth College UHI’s Academy of Sport and Wellbeing offers students, staff and members of the public a place in which they can exercise and keep fit.

A dedicated team will help you reach your health and fitness goals for 2019 with a wide variety of top of the range facilities & services on offer.

Gym facilities include a bright and spacious gym with a variety of cardio and strength resistance equipment, a dedicated weight lifting area, sports hall, and a state-of-the-art climbing centre offering more than 90 climbing The fitness team will encourage you to work at your own pace to deliver your goals.routes of varying grades.

Within the fitness studio, members can enjoy a range of body conditioning classes, as well as take part in group training sessions using the Queenax functional training rig, a revolutionary multi-dimensional fitness method that gives the ultimate full body workout.

Public memberships cost £25 per month, this includes your gym tour, induction and all fitness classes. Personalised fitness packages are available to help you stay motivated and stick to your goals. Though this initiative, you will receive ongoing support from our friendly, and fully qualified, fitness team who will encourage you to work at your own pace to deliver your goals.

The Academy of Sport and Wellbeing also offers monthly gym challenges, fun fitness activities, events, weekly workouts and much more. In 2019, the facility will introduce Shapewatch, a fantastic digital system to keep you motivated and track your progress.
