PKAVS are excited to announce that, for the fourth year running, they are holding their popular 5K colour assault course, Muddy Colour Mayhem!
Taking place at Scottish Assault Courses, Errol Airfield, on Saturday the 1st of June, the event is looking to be even bigger and more colourful than last year when over 200 people of all ages took part to raise money for PKAVS, a local charity that support thousands of people every year.
Participants will tackle obstacles including monkey bars, 7ft walls, tunnels, cargo nets, water obstacles, river crossings, and much more, all while being showered with bright multi-coloured dye!
This is a day for the whole family so runners and spectators will be able to enjoy inflatables, candy floss, food vendors, music, and more!
PKAVS want everyone to be able to take part in the fun, so returning for a second year there will be a mini colour assault course for children from Primary 1 to Primary 7 age and it has all the excitement of its' big brother!
Entry costs only £25 for and adult, £20 for a child (aged 8 to 16 when accompanied by an adult), and £20 for an adult team member and £15 for a child team member and includes an exclusive goodie bag and bespoke medal!
PKAVS work with people to support them to lead lives that they might not be able to without their help.PKAVS work with people to support them to lead lives that they might not be able to without their help. The charity don't make anything from the entry fee, they kindly ask that each runner aims to raise £50 or more for PKAVS to help them to continue to support local people.
PKAVS support thousands of people across Perth & Kinross every year. They work to help people in times of need, including young and adult carers, adults recovering from mental ill-health, minority communities, volunteers, older people, and adults with poor mobility.
Through one-to-one sessions, groups, trips, holidays, respite, advice, clinics, complimentary therapies, advocacy, training, signposting, activities, and much more, they work with people to support them to lead lives that they might not be able to without their help.
