The Lynedoch Course opened in 2000 and makes great use of the existing natural woodland by utilising the wild flower meadows that nature intended and carved a real wee gem of a course!
Built to USGA specifications the greens are a particular treat to putt on. You must first negotiate the narrow tree lined fairways and avoid the white sand bunkers. Some of the holes run alongside bracken filled gullies and tall Scots Pine trees which narrow the golfer’s view of fairways and greens.
The views are some of the best from a Perthshire golf course, from the 11th green the 270’ view takes in Perth towards Balbeggie and around to the Carse of Gowrie, while the view from the 15th tee is focused on the green 100ft below the teeing area.
