Perth's fitness lovers came out in force on Sunday as Live Active Leisure threw open the doors of Bell's Sports Centre for their first big Fitness Expo! AS well as all of our favourite local instructors (hello Helen, Kirsteen and Eva!) we were treated to taster sessions from two of the amazing Les Mills Master trainers, Lauren and Jordan.
LAL launched their their new Fitness Studio in Bells Sports Centre and I have to say, its is gorgeous! It's a smaller space than the likes of Rodney so far less imposing and its kitted out with these super swanky lights that help the instructirs set the mood - so its high-energy for an RPM class or soft and mellow for a Body Balance Class. Everyone was talking about it!
They also launched their new extended Perth City Fitness programme which has brought Body Balance into the LAL fold (YAY!) and introduced Les Mills GRIT and RPM to Perth.
GRIT is THE new hardcore interval class and is a group session with a maximum of 8 people. It lasts 30 minutes and is super-intense with options for Cardio, Strength and Plyo. You book into The Studio at Bells now but if the response on the day was anything to go by, you best be quick! Everyone was loving it.
