This exhibition focuses on France as a place of great inspiration to the artist JD Fergusson and the dance pioneer Margaret Morris. The couple met in Paris in 1913 and the selection of works on show chronicle Fergusson’s stylistic development from pre-War modernist paintings to one of his last ever pictures in the late 1950s, the colossal ‘Two Nudes’.
