Jim Fairlie's Perthshire Festival Food on Tour!

If you're a Perthshire Foodie you'll be no stranger to Jim Fairlie and his wife Anne. 15 years ago he set up Perth Farmers' Market and in doing so, set in motion a local food movement that has kept Perthshire at the forefront of the Scottish culinary scene for many years.

There's been a lot of lambs gone to market since then and Jim now runs his own farm in Harrietfield just outside Methven. In the past five years he and Anne have developed their ready-to-eat business and with the help of local chef Graeme Pallister they have produced a burger unlike any other!

Fat, juicy, proper meaty - like a burger should be. Fresh rolls from tower bakery and as much of the extras as you like. I'm talking onions cooked fresh at the stand, leaves, cheese relish the lot!

Jims BurgerAnne assures me that the whole animal is in there - and I mean that in the good way! Fillet, Sirloin, Topside. I may be a wee bit biased but I'm telling you to do yourself a favour while your out and about round Perthshire and Scotland's Festivals this summer, track them down and buy a burger.

You'll be bloody glad you did!
