Five members of Copperfields Hair & Beauty team will head to Glasgow this weekend as Scottish finalists in the prestigious L'Oreal Colour Trophy Award. Competing alongside some of the best stylists in Scotland the team hope to win their respective categories to walk away with the Scottish title and a place in the UK finals to be announced in London this June.
Emma Docherty makes her first appearance as a finalist in the Colour Trophy Star Award, Ashley Wallace and Craig Simpson are shortlisted in the Men's Image Award and Hayleigh Davidson and Deon Moffat will take their place as Colour Trophy Finalists.
The L'Oreal Colour Trophy is longest running live hairdressing competition in the world and over the years has grown to include various categories including the much sought after L'Oreal Colour Trophy Star Award, an accolade previously held by both Ashley and Hayleigh.
In the first round of all categories, hundreds of photographic images from across the country were judged by the most influential names in hairdressing including the 2012 title holders Sally & Jamie Brooks and hairdressing icons Trevor Sorbie MBE and Charles Worthington MBE.
This next stage of the competition will put the Copperfields team through their paces as they create live model looks that demonstrates an awareness for Autumn/Winter 2017/18 hair and fashion trends outlined in a detailed brief. The looks must be original, modern and inspirational as the judges are looking for a trend-setting aesthetic that will inspire clients and hairdressers.

From these live events a select number of regional finalists will go forward to compete at the L'Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final to be held on 5th June in London.
