Two of Scotland’s foremost mapping experts, Christopher Fleet (Senior Map Curator at the National Library of Scotland) and Charles Withers (Geographer Royal for Scotland and Ogilvie Chair of Geography at Edinburgh University), discuss the rich and diverse story of Scottish Islands, told through beautiful and historically significant maps which are reproduced in their book from the National Library of Scotland’s magnificent collection.
