Battle Of The Loos Memorial Service And Gallery Event

Loos Memorial Service - 11am

Memorial service held in the ground of the Balhousie Castle to remember more than 500 Black Watch men who fell 100 years before at the Battle of Loos. Members of the public and families of the fallen are welcome to attend.

You are very welcome to book a table in our Copperbeach Cafe after the memorial service and stay on to enjoy the Gallery Event planned for the afternoon. 

The event is included in the price of museum admission and is set to be a fascinating insight into the objects of the day.

Battle of Loos Gallery Event - 1:00-4:00pm

Visit the Museum on the 100^th anniversary of the first day of the Battle of Loos to see some objects and archive material up close. Members of the Museum and Archives team will be in the First World War gallery to talk to visitors about the battle and show artefacts that are not normally on display.
