Thoroughly Modern Tweeds!

When we heard there was to be a SECOND Ladies Day at Perth Racecourse this year we could barely contain our excitement! But what, we thought, were we going to wear in chilly September?! (Let's be honest, July wasn't that easy either this year!)

Well, those gorgeous people at Perth Racecourse have gone and thought of everything and have teamed up with McEwen's of Perth for a day of high fashion, Modern Tweeds. 

Forget the hunting, shooting, fishing kind of a look - this is beautiful, stylish tweed in glorious colours and super-chic designs. Think pastel pinks, pussy-cat bows and big print checks.  This hot look was all over the catwalk for Autumn 2015 and if you dare to be bold then clash your checks, mix your herringbones and top it all off with a baker boy cap!  

Of course, if wouldn’t be Ladies Day without the Best Dressed Lady and McEwen’s of Perth have generously sponsored the prize of £1000 for the best Modern Tweed.   Men won't miss out as there's £500 of vouchers for McEwen's for Best Dressed Male.
