Artisans Festive Market Day

Here in Perth and wider Perthshire we boast a creative culture that nurtures a huge number of gifted artisans who design and produce everything from pottery to pies and diamond rings to rapeseed oil!   And although the end results are as diverse as they are unique, the one common theme running throughout these businesses is the exceptional quality and talent of the people involved.

The Artisans Festive Market Day is a celebration of this wonderfully creative industry and throughout Perth City Centre you will find a fantastic number of local producers and artists as well as some friends from further afield in wider Scotland.   Two Christmas markets will showcase the very best in food, drink, crafts, jewellery, photography and so much more, and the Festive Truck will bring a little bit of the outlying countryside into the heart of the city – make sure you join us for what promises to be a wonderful, Christmassy day of shopping and creative talent.

Perthshire Creates Christmas Market
Perth Museum and Art Gallery | 10am to 4pm

This wonderful market offers you a unique opportunity to buy original contemporary craft and design gifts directly from the artists and designer-makers of Perth and Kinross.  Unusual and individual gifts including jewellery, ceramics, art, textiles, photography, cards, glass, knit, wax, mosaic, metalwork and glass.

Fair City Market
Perth City High Street | 9am to 4.30pm**

The Fair City Markets are now a hugely popular event in Perth’s Festive Calendar and offer a gorgeous, yule-inspired mix of arts & crafts, gift products, food and drink and food to go.  They’re a great way to stock up on your Festive food supplies as well as picking up some high-quality Christmas gifts.

GIFTS: Jewellery, paintings, textiles, woodwork, ceramics, pottery and seasonal items.

FOOD & DRINK: Fruit wines, chilli sauce, cheese, baked products, preserves & oils and fresh vegetables.

Perth’s Festive Truck
King Edward Street | 10am – 4pm (TBC)

Perth’s Festive Truck is rolling into town with a whole host of fun, games and Christmassy giveaways.  Hosted this year by the Errol Market we’re all feeling very excited about our very own Christmas Truck!
