    Hi Everyone,

I have been working with Daffy's Gin recently and one of my projects was to shoot their Christmas cocktail guide. I'm delighted to share one of my favourite cocktails from the guide this week - the Winter Goddess.

Daffy's Gin is created from pure wheat grain from northern France and distilled on an ancient copper pot still in the same way as malt whisky.  The botanicals that Daffy's steep and distil are a combination of the traditional juniper, coriander seeds, cassia bark but with Lebanese mint too which creates a classic, complex and perfectly balanced gin.

Daffy's Gin which was launched at the end of 2014 can be found in major stores such as Waitrose and Harvey Nichols. I absolutely love this gin and the design of the brand compliments it so much. The name Daffy is a 19th century word that was used for gin and Daffy who's featured as the goddess of gin on the front was drawn by acclaimed artist Robert McGinnis who is perhaps best known for his James Bond film posters throughout the 60s and 70s.

I hope you enjoy this cocktail as much as I do! Have a wonderful Christmas.
