The SNJO: The Artistry of Jazzmeia Horn

Vocalist extraordinaire Jazzmeia Horn joins the SNJO for 3 exclusive concerts on her first visit to Scotland.

One of the most exciting new vocalists in jazz, Jazzmeia draws on her love for iconic singers like Nina Simone and Sarah Vaughan and has created a sound that is all her own with stunning vocals, soulful sensitivity, and an infectiously vibrant and vivacious onstage presence.

Her superb debut album A Social Call was nominated for a Grammy Award as Best Jazz Vocal Album and she won the Jazz Journalist Association’s 2018 Up and Coming Musician of the Year.
