Tuesday's job as a Beauty Therapist at Crieff Hydro is unpredictable and exciting.  She get's a big kick out of seeing people come in stressed and tired and leaving feeling rejuvenated.  She works hard seeing between six to twelve guests a day but she can still party hard at the weekend when she goes for a night out with her friends in Perth dancing at The Loft, then Sunday night is pamper night at her house.

We also hear about her worst job, except it wasn't really the job that was the problem, more the uniform, how her mum Connie is her inspiration and her difficulty making her mind up between two different Champagne breakfasts.  All this and the holidays she'd want to relive (more Champagne involved) and the holidays she's yet to take.  Read more about it in this Saturdays Workdays and Weekends.

What does a typical day at work look like for you?

A typical day at the Hydro is so unpredictable but in a good way! I can be doing anything ranging from manicures, facials or massage and I see anything from six to twelve guests a day. All of them bring their own unique stories and I love seeing them come in tired or stressed and leave feeling so much better. A typical day also involves some good catch up time with my work friends, often over lunch with the occasional slice of cake.

What signals the start of your weekend/days off?

A night with friends for drinks. Even after doing massages or facials I can still rock a party dress and enjoy a night in Perth with my friends. I might always be the last one out but I can bring the glam!

What might people be surprised to know about you?

I wasn’t born on a Tuesday.

Top of your bucket list?

A trip to New York at Christmas time: shopping spree, Times Square, ice skating at Rockefeller Centre….I just want to do everything you see in the movies. Even the horse and carriage ride through Central Park!

Worst job you’ve ever had?

I have been really lucky to never have had any complete nightmare jobs but I could have done without the uniform at a place where we served milkshakes. Wearing a tee shirt with “You name it, we shake it” was not one of my most ideal moments!

Who or what inspires you?

My mum inspires me every day. She is hardworking, ambitious and would do anything for her family. She manages to do it all with ease and always looks so glamorous!

Tell us about the weekend you’d love to live again?

I had an epic weekend in Marbella last year. Champagne spray at Ocean Beach Club with my best friend was just amazing. I am going again in a couple of months, hoping to relive it all again!

What’s the best part about your job?

Apart from my fab team and boss, I would say that it is being able to give guests a moment of relaxation in their busy lives. It is so nice to just pamper and look after each of them and the variety of treatments that we do is really great. I love the training and that yes, it is all about the guest, but the focus on us as therapists and people is also really nice. We are so much more than just a number or team member and I like that.

What’s in the perfect day off breakfast?

Champagne, pancakes, maple syrup and bacon or smoked salmon, scrambled egg and sourdough….or can I have both?

Complete this sentence; The best things in life are….

…..family, high heels, friends, shopping and generally being glam!
