Maxwell's Desserts

Former 'Big Personality' and owner Graeme Maxwell started this successful business over 8 years ago and now heads up the team of Gemma and Ian to produce and deliver high quality treats- everything from perfect squares of Gateaux Opera to Bakewell Tart and indulgent chocolate cakes.

Maxwell's Desserts is a bespoke patisserie and dessert supplier to the catering trade including hotels, outside catering companies, restaurants and cafes. They are also able to supply private events and regularly do cookery demonstrations (see here!)

Originally from Glasgow, Graeme is a pastry chef to trade. He has worked in some of the best restaurants in the UK and counts Michelin star Michael Caines as his mentor having spent many years working under him. Originally from Glasgow, Graeme is passionate about using local produce whenever he can (his Mains of Errol strawberry tarts are flying out the door all summer!). He supplies a broad spectrum of customers from high end hotels like Gleneagles and Fonab Castle to Glendoick Garden Centre and the Royal Yacht Britannia.

If that isn’t enough name dropping for you try him making the dessert for Zara Philips’ wedding, afternoon tea for Becks or special requests for his lemon tart from HRH The Queen when she visits Hollyrood. With an impressive repertoire like that, not to mention a good dose of Glasgweigan patter, please contact Graeme to discuss how he can supply your business.
