Known as "the finest purveyors of Balkan music this side of a Lada scrap heap" The Budapest cafe Orchestra are so authentic that their website even features a band approved recipe for Hungarian Goulash.  Hailing from Harringay the orchestra can handle everything from a heart rending ancient Jewish melody to the fiery exuburance of a Russian or Romanian dance with a few suprises along the way.

Headed by jazz violinist Chris Garrick, aka Balkan Bob, the orchestra are no strangers to Scotland where they have gigged Wick and Eigg in the Small Isles and have even recorded an album called Gaelic Chronicles.
