Celebrate the life of Robert the Bruce in a special event with the Strathleven Artizans!

Making history fun is what the Strathleven Artizans are passionate about. Dressed in traditional costumes, you will be able to see how King Robert the Bruce and his men would have dressed, the weapons they would have used including an exact replica of the King's sword.

You can join in too, with costumes for both adults and children to try on, you can be one of the King's men for the day. Historical re-enactment enthusiasts are invited to come in their own costumes too!

On the day:

  • Battle re-enactments throughout the day.
  • See King Robert the Bruce being crowned at one of the two re-enactments which will take place at 1.00pm and 3.00pm.
