The wonder of Disney has been magically winding its way through the streets of Perth ever since it opened the doors of its St John’s Shopping Centre shop back in June this year.
Having Mickey and co join us in Perth, has got us to thinking... what would our favourite Disney characters get up to if they came to visit Perthshire?! Would Woody and Buzz get lost in the Enchanted Forest....? Would Belle find herself dancing across Scone Palace’s ballroom...?
Would Woody and Buzz get lost in the Enchanted Forest? Would Belle find herself dancing across Scone Palace’s ballroom? So excited were we at these wonderful thoughts that we're inviting the children of Perthshire to write the story for us! So, this October holidays why not let your imagination run wild by creating a story that brings your favourite Disney character to explore what you love most about Perthshire.
Junior authors should write about 250 words and send it with a drawing into our friend Derek at St John’s Shopping Centre by Sunday 21st October. He does love to read a good story so make sure you do your best to captivate him with some Disney-Perthshire magic!
The competition is for children aged 5 – 10 and 10 – 15 and we have three great prizes to be won!
All three winning stories will also be run right here on Small City, Big Personality!
You should email or post your story along with your name, age, school, address and the phone number of an adult we can contact if you win, to firstname.lastname@example.org St John's Shopping, King Edward Street, PH1 5UB, by Sunday 21st October 2018.
Emailed entries should arrive no later than midnight on the 20th October 2018. Judging will take place in St John's Shopping Centre Management Office. Judges decision is final. The prize cannot be swapped for cash value.
