Last month saw the end of what was a busy year for our friends over at Clyde Property, with the George Street estate agent securing their place as the top selling agent in Perth’s PH1 and PH2 postcode areas for the second year running.
Having only narrowly taken the top spot in 2016, Gary Robertson and his hard-working team were streets ahead (pardon the pun) of the competition this time around, with Clyde Property securing 32% more sales than their nearest competitor according to Rightmove data. This has meant that Clyde has managed to help even more people to take the next step in their lives and find the perfect home.
Gary Robertson, the Area Director at Clyde, is delighted about the way 2017 has panned out and is looking for more of the same in 2018. In 2017 we were over 30% ahead of our nearest competitor which was a fantastic achievement from our team.
“I was delighted that we ended 2017 as the top selling agent in the Perth PH1 and PH2 postcodes for the second consecutive year. In 2016, we were only top by a handful of properties, but in 2017 we were over 30% ahead of our nearest competitor which was a fantastic achievement from our team.
“We were also the top selling agent across the PH1 to PH8 postcode range, which shows an increase in demand for our services in the likes of Crieff, Auchterarder, Blackford and other villages and towns in the wider area.
“We will always look at areas for improvement but I have to say a big thank you to the team here at Clyde Property in Perth for their hard work and effort throughout 2017. This year will require more of the same and then some, and our plans are already in motion to tackle 2018 head on!”
For Gary himself, and his colleagues Tara Sinclair and Nicola MacDonald, they all recently celebrated their 4th anniversary with Clyde Property. All three were original members of the team when Clyde Perth's plans first came to fruition. Congratulations guys!
There’s more exciting news to kick off the year for Clyde Property too, as the estate agent has recently increased its online exposure by joining Zoopla. This now means that all of their clients’ properties are marketed via the three largest property portals in the UK and at no added cost! We’re delighted to now be marketing our clients’ properties via Zoopla.
“We haven’t been on Zoopla in the past two years that we’ve been the top selling agent in the area,” Gary said, “so I think that our achievements demonstrate that the hopes of achieving a successful sale on any property shouldn’t be pinned solely on it being featured on one particular website – be that Zoopla, Rightmove, OnTheMarket or any other portal.
