Do you have a secret talent that you want to share with the world? Maybe you’ve got the voice of an angel, the dance moves of Michael Jackson or the comedy punchlines of Billy Connolly? Well there’s some good news if you do, because the nation’s favourite talent show is taking to the road with its auditions once again and it could well be the big break you’ve been waiting for.

That’s right – Britain’s Got Talent is coming to Perth this weekend on Sunday 5th November, holding open auditions at the Salutation Hotel between 12:00 – 16:00 and it’s open to any performer of any age who thinks they’ve got what it takes to impress the nation.

Successful acts will be in with a chance of securing a place at one of the judges’ auditions in 2018, meaning they’ll get to showcase their skills in front of Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden. Successful acts will be in with a chance of securing a place at one of the judges’ auditions in 2018.

The news has filtered through to Small City HQ and some of the team have already been racking their brains to think of what they could do to impress the BGT team. Holly and her new puppy, Louie, could potentially be the next Ashleigh and Pudsey or Jules and Matisse, while Colin might have some luck breaking out his guitar to wow the judges.

You never know what could happen and with success stories like Susan Boyle – who has gone on to sell over 23 million records worldwide – you might just be lucky enough to achieve superstardom overnight.

Britain’s Got Talent’s Series Producer, Charlie Irwin, hopes that the 2018 show will be packed with even more talent than last year’s impressive programme.

“Britain’s Got Talent 2017 was a fantastic year for talent full of variety – from runner-up Issy Simpson, one of the youngest magicians to ever audition, to the moving an inspiring Missing People Choir, lovable duo The Pensionalities and our incredible winner, Tokio Myers. We can’t wait to see what talent Perth has to offer for the 2018 series. Anyone can apply, there’s no age limit and we’re looking for all kinds of talents.

This is the 12th series of the hit TV talent show which has seen winners performing a whole range of different acts, from dog trick shows and gymnastic troupes to magicians and singers. The reward for winning includes a cash prize and the opportunity to perform in front of members of the Royal Family at the Royal Variety Performance.

So, you never know, you could be performing for the Queen or the Prince of Wales while becoming a global superstar. The journey starts this weekend, so if you think you’ve got what it takes why not head down to the Salutation Hotel on Sunday and show the Britain’s Got Talent team what you’ve got!
