Avocado Chocolate Pots

We'll bet you've heard all about the Avocado. Not only is it filling and delicious (on sourdough with poached egg anyone?), but it is also high in all of the things that make your body happy too such as: potassium, vitamins, healthy fats, fiber and antioxidants to name but a few - the health benefits of this ultimate super food are many! 

But, have you heard about the secret talents of dark chocolate? This delicious sweet treat (when enjoyed in moderation) is also very good for you. Full of minerals and fibre, dark chocolate has proven health benefits so chocoholics the world over can rejoice in the knowledge that consuming these delicious little pots of joy is guilt free. 

The sprinkling of Maldon sea salt on top of these pots is the perfect blend of sweet and savoury and we just can't get enough!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ripe avocados
  • 2 small bananas
  • 100g dark chocolate (70% or higher cocoa percentage)
  • 60ml almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt

  • For Serving: Maldon sea salt

    Method

    Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.

    Divide into small serving dishes or glasses and refrigerate for at least an hour.

    Just before serving, top with a sprinkling of Maldon sea salt.

    TOP TIP:

    These tasty little pots will keep in the fridge for up to a couple of days if covered with cling film so you can keep on enjoying them!
